Maternity Protection for Students

New Regulations since January 2018

Since 1 January 2018, the Maternity Protection Act has also applied to female students.

Although the Maternity Protection Act fortunately no longer distinguishes between students and employees, the bureaucracy is unfortunately not the same. While the personnel department takes care of the registration process for employees, a pregnant student receives mail from the SSZ. The scope also depends on the activities involved. It simply gets better when, for example, only lectures and seminars are attended.
