Explosion protection includes all measures that are suitable for preventing explosions when flammable gases, vapours or dusts are used. These must be summarised in a special risk assessment, which is then laid down in the explosion protection document.
The relevant regulations include the Industrial Safety Ordinance, which, for example, regulates the classification into Ex zones.
