“Deprivatising” the training of early career researchers
Most of our doctoral candidates participate in a structured doctoral programme. Our Code of Practice for Academics between Doctoral Studies and Professorship commits our programmes to offer junior researchers the best possible framework conditions to support their research and careers. Our Zukunftskolleg is one of a kind. The freedom and independence that this interdisciplinary environment provides our “fellows” is exemplary.
