Sven Lauer has invited Kjell Johan Sæbø as a mentor to Konstanz. Kjell Johan Sæbø is a Professor of German Linguistics at the Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages at the University of Oslo (Norway). He is an expert on semantics and pragmatics of natural languages.

We welcome Udith Dematagoda to the Zukunftskolleg

We are proud to welcome our first new Fellow from our 12th call for applications to the Zukunftskolleg: Udith Dematagoda has started his Postdoctoral Fellowship in December. For the next two years, he will be part of our community and work on his research project "Machine Men, Machine Minds, Machine Heart: Masculinity, Technology and Fascist Modernities". Udith is associated with the Department of Literature.

Awardening of Fellowships

This year, the Zukunftskolleg had issued calls for applications for 5-year Research Fellowships, a 5-year Hector Pioneer Fellowship as well as for 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowships.

On two meetings in October and in November/December, the Recruitment Committee selected the candidates.
