ZUKOnnect and Herz go ERUA
At the beginning of December, four of our recent ZUKOnnect and Herz Fellows attended the ERUA ECR Workshop on "Interdisciplinary Research and Engaging the Non-academic" at the University of Roskilde.
The Fellows enjoyed the visit very much: "Just like our home university, the organisers were very receptive and friendly. It was a great opportunity for us to exchange experiences with colleagues and staff from Roskilde and other partner universities about interdisciplinary research. The involvement in the workshop was extremely important for us to think about opportunities beyond academia - especially how to start our own research consortium and possible collaborations with people and organisations outside the academic sector in the short, mid and long term.
In addition, the workshop provided us with valuable contacts from the diverse areas and countries which are of great value as we advance with our careers."
