Synopsis:
Join biologist Nancy Hopkins, chemist Raychelle Burks, and geologist Jane Willenbring as they share their personal journeys in the sciences, from facing harassment to enduring subtle biases. Along the way, from cramped laboratories to spectacular field stations, we encounter scientific luminaries – including social scientists, neuroscientists, and psychologists – who offer insights on how to make science itself more diverse, equitable, and open to all.
After the movie, we will discuss the situation of women in STEM and how we would like to picture scientists in the future.
