Exchange-Days

The Exchange Days are for all international exchange students who will be studying at the University of Konstanz in SuSe 2024. This includes the participants of GO-Konstanz March 2024 and OriPro April 2024, as well as the exchange students who have already come to Konstanz in WiSe 2023/2024 for one academic year (2 semester).

You will receive information from the respective departments about their selection of courses and events as well as department-specific information that will help you create your individual class schedule.

You will also get an overview of the interdisciplinary course and event offerings that are not offered by departments themselves but by other areas of the university (such as the Language Institute, Key Qualifications/Transferrable Skills, the International Office, ERUA partner universities, etc.).
In addition, insight is given into the extracurricular offerings of the Academic Sports Service, whose programmes do not award ECTS or grades, but should be taken into account when creating your class schedule.

The information event "introduction to Studies" from the information event series for new international exchange students before arrival, a navigation through the important platforms of the University of Konstanz (ZEuS, ILIAS, etc) for a first orientation, as well as information about registration for courses and exams is designed to give you an overview of the technical preparations that are necessary to be ready for a successful exchange study in Konstanz (uni-e-mail, VPN access, Eduroam, SoGo, My University, etc).

Many departments do not expect very many exchange students and therefore offer rather individual advice. If you are interested in courses from a department that is not listed, please contact the respective Departmental Exchange/Erasmus+ Coordinators directly.

Only Adobe Connect will be used at Exchange-Days to stream live from the events and it will also give you the opportunity to actively participate online (audio, video and chat feature).
Please run the Adobe Connect Diagnostic Test on your device beforehand.
For improved functionality and performance, we recommend installing the Adobe Connect application for desktop! Without installing the Adobe Connect application for desktop, you may not be able to turn on your microphone or webcam for interactive participation in the events!

The Exchange-Day events will be held on campus and also streamed live, with the possibility to actively participate online (audio, video and chat function).
It is necessary that you still explicitly agree to the privacy policy beforehand in order to receive the link and the passcode directly afterwards via email.
