Group leader position for Claudius Kratochwil
We congratulate Claudius Kratochwil (Fellow / Dept. of Biology) who has accepted a position as group leader at the Institute for Biotechnology at the University of Helsinki.
“It's a fantastic institute with a focus on genomics and evolution, as well as developmental biology, which I think fits perfectly. I am very much looking forward to this next career step, which will start in January”, says Claudius. The position is initially for five years with a possibility for a 4-year extension based on external evaluation.
Claudius will continue to work on "The molecular basis of evolutionary change”.
He was a fellow at the Zukunftskolleg since September 2013 working on the evolution of transcriptional regulation during diversification and speciation in Cichlid Fishes.
