240 Applications for 2-year and 5-year Fellowships
In its current call for three 2- and two 5-year Fellowships (the closing date for applications was 15 October 2018), the Zukunftskolleg received 240 applications.
Among the 240 applications are 203 applications for the 2-year Fellowships (125 male, 77 female, 1 other) and 37 applications for the 5-year Fellowships (23 male, 14 female). From all 240 applications, 62 came from Germany, 178 from abroad.
In its first meeting on 3 December, the Recruitment Committee will choose the finalists for the 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowships and the 5-year Research Fellowships. In its second meeting on 17/18 January 2019, the committee will decide who will be offered the 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowships. From 5-6 February 2019, the “Workshop on Future Research Directions” for the candidates applying for a 5-year Research Fellowship will take place.
