Gruia Badescu and Valeria Vegh Weis are hosting a great event with Prof. Elizabeth Jelin, sociologist and pioneer in memory studies. On 4 October, 10:00 - 18:00, an interactive, interdisciplinary, informal workshop will take place, with the aim of sharing work in progress in a friendly atmosphere. Researchers interested in presenting their work are invited to receive feedback from Prof. Jelin and the attendees. Participation is possible either as a presenter or participant, and should be confirmed by email to valeriaveghw@gmail.com or gruia.badescu@uni-konstanz.de before September 30. If you want to present, an abstract must be included.

About Elizabeth Jelin:

Elizabeth Jelin is a Senior Researcher at CONICET (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas
of Argentina), working at IDES (Instituto de Desarrollo Económico y Social) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her research interests and publications are in the fields of human rights, memory of political repression, citizenship, social movements, gender and the family. She is one of the leading researchers on memory at a global scale.
