The goal of this seminar is to give an overview of the German academic system as well as to provide you with the most important information on academic careers in Germany.

Continuing your academic career in a new country always raises a lot of questions. The goal of this seminar is to give an overview of the German academic system as well as to provide you with the most important information on academic careers in Germany.

The seminar is divided into four thematic sessions which can be booked separately. The first session provides a general introduction to the German academic system and useful information on (support) structures at the University of Konstanz. In the second and third session, specific information on academic careers for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers will be offered. The fourth session targets options for external funding in Germany. This comprehensive information session will support your successful start in Germany.
