Movie screening followed by digital film discussion

Digital Jour fixe event on 16 June 2020 organized by Jacob Bloomfield and Cornelia Klocker

Jacob Bloomfield (new Postdoctoral Fellow / Literature) and Cornelia Klocker (Postdoctoral Fellow / Law) invited to the screening of the movie “Holy Trinity” by Molly Hewitt followed by a discussion with a member of the Zebrakino Queergestreift Filmfestival team.

Abstract:
…the story of a dominatrix who can speak to the dead…

Boasting an inclusive cast and crew comprised of diverse communities often neglected in mainstream cinema and approaching typically taboo subjects with verve and acceptance, Holy Trinity is a sometimes raunchy, always entertaining celebration of all that makes us different. In their feature film debut, writer, director and star Molly Hewitt presents a vibrant and vivid portrait of friendship, spirituality and community, with more than a little glam sprinkled in along the way.

Offering a break from the homeoffice monotony, this movie can inspire discussions about diversity and inclusion in film and about creating communities and community spaces.
