New Postdoctoral and Research Fellows selected
The 16th Fellowship call has closed. In its meetings on 27/28 January, 2022 and 17/18 February 2022, the Recruitment Committee selected three new 2-year Postdoctoral Fellows and decided on four candidates to be offered a 5-year Research Fellowship.
The new Postdoctoral Fellows to join the Zukunftskolleg are Itay Kavaler (Mathematics and Statistics), Eduardo Harry Luersen (Literature) and James Wilson (History). The four Research Fellows enlarging our community were offered within the disciplines of Law, Biology, Computer Science, and Physics.
In this most recent call (the closing date for applications was 15 October 2021), the Zukunftskolleg received 84 applications. Among them 67 applications for the 2-year Fellowships (25 female, 42 male) and 17 applications for the 5-year Fellowships (6 female, 11 male). We have received applications from all disciplines, in particular from History/ Socioliogy, Politics and Public Administration, Literature and Biology. Two thirds of applications came from abroad from 33 different countries worldwide.
