Junior Group Leader Position for Unai Atxitia Macizo
Unai Atxitia Macizo (former Postdoctoral Fellow/Dept. of Physics) has been offered a junior group leader position at the Institute of Theoretical Physics at Freie Universität Berlin.
He will be PI of the new Collaborative Research Center/Transregio 227 'Ultrafast Spin Dynamics'. A comprehensive, reliable, and predictive understanding of spin dynamics on all relevant time and length scales is an inevitable prerequisite to explore and ultimately progress ultrafast spintronics into future applications. To address these goals, Unai Atxitia aims to develop and use an advanced multi-scale environment for the modelling of ultrafast spin dynamics experiments.
He will start his new position on 1 January 2018. We congratulate Unai and wish him all the best!
