Double Success for Alumnus Ilja Serzants
We congratulate Ilja Serzants (Alumnus / Dept. of Linguistics) who was appointed to a W2 Professorship in Slavic Linguistics with a focus on historical linguistics at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel.
Further, he was successfully accepted in the Heisenberg Programme of the German Research Foundation (DFG).
The Heisenberg Programme is directed primarily at researchers who have qualified for professorship but have not acquired one yet. It provides a unique opportunity for reseachers to pursue their own research programme for five years.
Ilja Serzants was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Zukunftskolleg from February 2013 until January 2015. We wish him all the best!
