Chocolate Lesson in Harvard

Beatriz Puente-Ballesteros was invited to Harvard University to present the unsong story of chocolate in Early Qing China. At the end of her lecture “Tasting Chocolate at the Kangxi Court: Medicine, Politics, and Global Trade Flows in the 17th Century” she cooked the historical recipe of chocolate in an exercise of experimental archeology.
