The Equal Opportunities Council is an advisory Senate committee of the University of Konstanz that deals with all issues relating to gender equality and diversity at the university. It is composed of the representatives for gender equality and other diversity categories, representatives of the academic status groups, the university rectorate and the research centres, as well as the head of the Equal Opportunities Office. The committee is chaired by the Equal Opportunities Officer. The Vice-Rector chairs the award committee.
The Equal Opportunities Council provides information about open calls for applications on its websites for gender equality, family support and diversity.
