Knowledge- and Technology Transfer

We support you in your projects!

The staff unit University Development, Research and Transfer is the central point of contact for knowledge and technology transfer at the University of Konstanz - both for all members of the university and for external institutions interested in cooperation. The transfer team advises you on research cooperation with industry and on the application of your research results as well as on start-up projects. The FabLab offers space for innovation from the idea to the product.

Innovation award for Subsequent

Startup success at the University of Konstanz: The young company "Subsequent GmbH" was honored with the State Innovation Award and can look forward to the 50,000 euros in prize money. Founder Manuel Stein, who earned his doctorate in computer and information science at the University of Konstanz, develops innovative solutions with his startup to collect 3D skeletal and positional data from video recordings.

Smart Green City Konstanz – Call for Proposals

The city of Constance was selected in 2021 as part of the federal government's "Smart Cities" funding program. Scientists and students can submit their sketches for the program. The program is looking for projects that use digitization to minimize resource consumption, improve the quality of life in Constance, and strengthen participation and cohesion in urban society.

The FabLab will be delivered!

Finally, it's getting started! The FabLab modules are delivered and assembled on the bridge between buildings A and R.
