Working closely with the departments, VEUK awards a prize for academic excellence to graduates from all academic disciplines. The VEUK board selects the award winners based on departmental recommendations. Academic excellence as well as personal and social commitment are key selection criteria. There are separate awards for bachelor, master and international students, each worth 200 euros.
The VEUK awards are traditionally presented during the departmental graduation ceremonies.
