Our general terms of participation
Who can participate?
Our courses and events are primarily directed at students, doctoral students and graduates1 of the University of Konstanz.
Students from other universities, employees of the University of Konstanz and other interested parties may participate as well where places are available. Special conditions for registration and fees may apply. Please refer to the respective course description for details.

How to participate in digital events?
Our digital events are hosted via Zoom. You can participate via your web browser without downloading an application. After your registration you will receive an email containing the meeting information. By participating in our digital events, you agree to the respective data protection regulations.
For most of our lectures and information events, prior registration is not necessary, but possible. By registering, you enable us to inform you of any last-minute changes regarding the event. If you do not wish to leave your details, you will find the latest information on the event in our events calendar.
For organizational reasons, registration is required for workshops, webinars, application trainings and excursions. For details, please refer to the description of the respective event on our website. If all spaces are filled, we will keep a waiting list and let you know if a space becomes available later.
Most of our events are offered free of charge. We do, however, charge a small participation fee for some workshops, application trainings or excursions.
The course fees for individual events can be found in the respective flyer or event description on our website.
You may cancel your participation free of charge up to 14 days before the event. In case of later cancellation or no shows, the full fee becomes due. If a course has to be canceled without replacement, or you cannot participate at the alternate date, you will be reimbursed the full fee.
If you have registered for a free offer that requires registration and for which the number of places is limited, we would be pleased to receive a short message by email so that we can pass on your place to someone else who is interested.
Evaluation and feedback
We honour your opinion. We evaluate our courses and events regularly. Please make time to take part in the evaluation, if offered, following the course or event you participated in.
We are also happy to receive your feedback via email anytime.
