New bus schedules
The new bus schedules for Konstanz (as of 30 September 2023) also affect bus lines 9 A/B/C, 4/13 and 13/4 that serve the university. The changes are due to construction on the plaza in front of the main train station Konstanz, in particular. The new schedules apply until this construction is completed, presumably in about two years.

Please note that the changes may impact your travel to the university. Information and the new bus schedules are available on the Stadtwerke Konstanz website.

Overview of the most important changes:

  • You can only reach the main train station using bus lines 1, 6, 9A and 9B. Most of the bus lines will start/end at the stations "Stephansschule" or "Bürgerbüro" on opposite sides of the street "Laube" .
  • Bus lines 9A and 9B will continue to serve the main station. On Sundays and holidays, buses now come every 60 minutes.
  • Bus line 9C has been cancelled for now.
  • Bus lines 4/13 and 13/4 end at "Bürgerbüro". If you want to head to the suburbs of Konstanz, please use the stop "Stephansschule", opposite the bus stop "Bürgerbüro". This line currently no longer stops at "Konzilstraße/Theater", "Marktstätte" and "Bahnhof". On Saturdays, the additional buses have been cancelled for the route "Stadtzentrum - Litzelstetten - Stadtzentrum" as well as the bus running Monday-Friday from "Wallhausen/Hafen" at 10:04.
  • There are no changes to bus line 11.
  • Please be aware of any new times for stops on all bus lines.
