Project 'Gender in Teaching'

It is our express aim for the future to assure learning and teaching that demonstrates a high level of gender competency (see our Code of Practice on Gender Equality). This means:

  • Students are taught the skills needed for gender competency.
  • Gender-equitable didactics are used in teaching.
  • Teaching incorporates aspects to assure gender-equity.

Within the framework of the Professorinnenprogramm II of the federal and state governments, a project on gender in teaching was launched.

The project group is composed of the Equal Opportunity Office, university didactics (Academic Staff Development) and the research level (Gender Studies).

It cooperates with various departments and external networks.
