The news and media staff is responsible for news coverage of the university and responding to media requests. We provide journalists with a broad range of information and can refer them to relevant experts for interviews, for example. We cultivate contacts with media representatives, coordinate and support media activities like film and radio recordings, press conferences or public events on campus.
Additionally, we create all the University of Konstanz’s printed communications (text and images), including, for example, the university magazine uni’kon (in German) as well as informational material on the German Excellence Initiative and university study programmes. We also advise university departments and divisions on their media appearance, printed materials and all other questions related to internal and external communications.
