Stays abroad during your studies

Would you like to develop your professional skills and gain intercultural experience at the same time? Then studying abroad is just the right thing for you!

Each of the six departments in the Faculty of Sciences maintains numerous partnerships with European universities. You can take advantage of these connections to study abroad for up to two semesters or to conduct a research project abroad. Within the framework of Erasmus+, you will receive a monthly grant for your stay abroad, as well as the opportunity to take part in language courses or to obtain inexpensive dormitory accommodation. The Erasmus coordinators in the departments are available to support you in planning your stay abroad.

On this homepage you will find all the important links to the department-specific information pages and partner universities, as well as the contact details of the Erasmus coordinators of the individual departments. You will also be redirected to the information pages where you can find out about global exchange programmes, internships abroad and short-term mobilities. For country-specific information (e.g. visa, living conditions) we recommend the website of the Outgoing Centre.

Are you looking for a suitable funding program or fellowship to finance your stay abroad? In the blue box at the bottom right you can download an overview of various funding opportunities.
