The Manfred Fuchs Prize is initiated to support particularly qualified young researchers under 40 years who are habilitating in the humanities under the WIN programme of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities or preparing for a professorship as head of a scientific research group. The Manfred Fuchs Prize was awarded by the Mannheim entrepreneur Dr. Dr. h.c. Manfred Fuchs and has been awarded by the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences since 2015.
