From your first day at the university through graduation – our support services help you master your studies!
Our guide for new students provides you with helpful information on getting started at the University of Konstanz. Step-by-step it takes you from getting your UniCard to organizing your class schedule and tells you who to contact for assistance. For first generation students, there is even a special orientation programme: Kon'Start. Our online advisory service guide (in German) helps you find the right contact person for your questions.
We are happy to guide you through all the questions that come up as you study. To make an appointment, simply email us (termin.zsb@uni-konstanz.de) with your topic and availability. Or you can drop by our open office hours – either in person on Mondays from 11:00-12:30 in room D 412 or via Zoom on Fridays from 10:00-11:30.
If you can learn better, your studies will also go more smoothly. We have a variety of advisory services to help you study effectively and also provide one-on-one consultations. You can also take part in workshops on self-management and managing the learning process, as well as corresponding online events.
There are many great things about studying, but you might also have some questions or even problems and doubts. To help you navigate uncertain waters, we provide individual and confidential advice on different topics, e.g. , looking for the right track as you change your study subject or your plans take you outside the university.
