Conditions of participation

The new FabLab (Fabrication Laboratory) at the University of Konstanz opened on 24. May 2023. The FabLab open laboratory provides easy access to modern production technologies including 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC mills and other computer-controlled machines. It is a place where people can put their ideas into practice while making use of the FabLab's equipment and know-how. The university is celebrating the opening of the FabLab with a competition.

We would like to know what project you would like to complete in the FabLab. Simply describe your idea in a comment on the university's Instagram post from 13 July 2023 (@unikonstanz). The three most creative submissions will win an item (sweatshirt, T-shirt or tote bag) from our Uni Konstanz Campus Store. You can also submit your idea by sending an email with the subject "FabLab competition" to marketing@uni-konstanz.de.
