Through which department are you applying?
You may apply for up to four universities in this application, sorted by preference and starting with your first choice.
For each university, you have to provide the following information:
- the official name of the university
- the exact duration of your planned stay, according to the academic calendar of the host institution, e.g. 09/24-12/24,
- the exact number of months of the study period, e.g. 4 months (the study period consists of the lecture as well as the examination period, only those months count)

Information on your language skills
Language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages:
Do you have to submit a language certificate at any of the insitutions you mentioned before when applying for admission as an incoming Erasmus+ student there?
If you have clicked "Yes", at which university do you have to hand in a language certificate?
If you selected "Yes", do you already hold this certificate?
In case you clicked "No" or "Partly", when will the required test take place? Please state the test date.
Letter of motivation
Please describe briefly (max. 1500 characters including spaces) in English why you would like to study abroad. The letter of motivation does not necessarily have to be country-specific, as you may also apply for four universities in four different countries.
Study proposal
For each of the universities you are applying for, please provide a study proposal in English and as a continuous text (max. 1800 characters including spaces per proposal), indicating which courses you would like to take at the host institution and how they can be integrated in your studies in Konstanz. If some courses cannot be incorporated, please explain why you would like to take them anyway.
IMPORTANT: Plan with a workload of 30 ECTS per semester and consider the constraints on course choice that apply to some of the partner universities.
Further information relevant for your application
Please provide further information relevant to your application in bullet points or continuous text, e.g. explain how you intend to make up for any language skills you are still lacking or how you have already acquired them outside the university, your bachelor's degree at another university, any prior stays abroad. Max. 500 characters including spaces.

Do you agree to your email address being passed on to fellow students going abroad with you or to those applying to your host institution at a later stage?
If your study programme is managed electronically, do you agree to the Erasmus+ coordinator of the Faculty of Humanities issuing your transcript of records from ZEuS?
If you click "No", please send a print-out of ZEuS or an overview of the courses you have completed and are currently taking, including the grades you have received, as a PDF document via email to erasmus.humanitiesATuni-konstanz.de.
If you are in your master's degree and completed your bachelor's degree at a university other than the University of Konstanz, you need to send a transcript of records, listing your bachelor courses and grades, as a PDF document via email to erasmus.humanitiesATuni-konstanz.de.

In compliance with the applicable data protection regulations, we process personal data in the context of your application. Your data will neither be published by us nor passed on to third parties without authorisation.
By submitting your application, you consent to the storage of your personal data.
The university is obliged to collect and forward personal data of Erasmus scholarship holders to the DAAD / the EU Commission for the purpose of producing the proof of use required by the EU Commission.
The personal data processed will be used exclusively for selection procedures and administration of the exchange programmes, for reporting to the DAAD / EU Commission and for registration at the foreign host university. For this purpose, your details will be forwarded electronically to the host university and to the DAAD / EU Commission.
