Time management

We ask all speakers not to overrun their speaking time.

The event moderators will introduce the speakers, oversee the presentations and discussions and monitor the speaking time to ensure enough time remains for discussions. Please be at the corresponding locations around xx minutes before the event starts.

You will have around xx minutes for your presentation. About xx minutes of your allotted time is for the presentation and xx minutes for the ensuing discussion.

Technical equipment

All lecture rooms have beamers with a VGA connector. If you wish to use your own laptop, please bring an adapter.

Please submit your presentations in PowerPoint format only (Microsoft PowerPoint 97-2003 or higher), so we can ensure everything runs smoothly. If you have created your presentation on an Apple computer, please transfer the presentation to a Windows computer, check the layout and save it in Microsoft PowerPoint 97-2003 format or higher.

You can send your presentation to mustermann@uni-musterstadt.de until xx Month 20xx.

You can also submit your presentation directly to the conference office on site, no later than xx minutes before the conference starts.

We accept the following storage media:

• CD compatible with Windows
• USB mass storage (not protected by software)

Please note that you have to embed graphics into the PowerPoint presentation. Video and audio files have to be linked to the presentation and must be filed separately in the same folder as the presentation. All multimedia files have to be in Windows standard formats (e.g. *.wmv). Please use the Microsoft-Office standard fonts in your presentations.

At the conference location we have laptops available in the conference office for you to check your presentations and amend them if necessary.

Internet access for participants

You will receive an access code for the WiFi (wireless LAN) net with your conference documents.
