In Lake Constance, it's a staggering 39.9% (according to the Nuremberg Institute for Labour Market and Occupational Research, IAB). Western Germany, a 20.6% divide; thrice that of the east (6.3%). Nationwide, men in full-time jobs earn 18.9% more. The root? Women in underpaid sectors.
