"Diversity Champions" proposal program

The University of Konstanz appreciates and recognizes the initiative of its members in the area of diversity, equality and anti-discrimination. Since many activities are not part of official programs and can therefore be overlooked, the University recognizes "Diversity Champions".

As part of this award, all members of the University may nominate individuals and groups whose efforts have particularly caught their attention for an award. The certificate can be added to a resume and demonstrates an individual's willingness to participate in the advancement of their organization and become active in the area of diversity.

The decision on whether to award a proposal will be made by the Equal Opportunity Council based on the following criteria:

  • The activity should have contributed significantly to increasing the inclusion, diversity climate, or participation of specific groups of people or reducing discrimination.
  • The activity must not be part of the regular duties of the position (e.g., for employees in the Equal Opportunities Office).

For processing, the contact details of the person or group concerned and a brief description of the relevant activities are required in the following form.
