The afternoon scientific program on April 9, 2024 will take place in the town of Meersburg, a charming vineyard location on the opposite side of the lake from Constance, with a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps.

We will be delighted to welcome our conference attendees at the Vineum Bodensee museum.

Closing the scientific session, a guided tour of the museum will offer the participants a cultural insight of the wine history in Meersburg and the Lake Constance region in relation to the whole word. On two floors with a total of 14 stations, visitors will have the chance to learn about the world's oldest cultural assets and experience a special "wine tasting" event. At the end of the tour, a still fully functional large wine press from 1607, the so-called "Torkel" (lat. torquere=turn) and an impressive "beam press show" can be seen.
