Building Systems Management, Measurement and Control Engineering

Responsibilities:

  • supervising and maintaining Building Systems Management (GLT), data catalogue system (DAKS), Simple Mail Access Protocol (SMAP), Smart Digital Assistant (SDA) and measurement, instrumentation and control engineering (MSR)
  • maintaining and adapting daily schedules
  • GLT maintenance
  • creating and updating installation schematics at the operation stations for the visualisation of various building-specific technical systems
  • maintaining the EWS (operation station), and instructing personnel on how to operate it
  • creating data points without time-consuming programming work
  • verifying, specifying and updating data points
  • supporting the MSR section with any problems with SMT/NMT
  • supporting specialists with the operation of technical systems
  • changing, adapting and maintaining the SPL Programme
  • acting as the point of contact for the company JCI
  • supervising the GLT substations and having JCI service them
  • coordinating new data points with regard to the system numbers and their systematic
  • creating and managing documentation
  • documenting the wiring system e.g. with the communications engineering programme
  • supervising the documentation of data and the consultation with MSR
  • servicing and supervising all maintenance work on instrumentation and controls for building systems management, heating, ventilation, sanitation, and gas systems in order optimise the systems operations in terms of energy efficiency.
