Volunteers wanted for youth programmes

The youth programme “Mädelstreff” gives girls aged 13-18 the chance to meet up in Konstanz. In the programme, both refugees and locals take part in the city’s cultural and social life, get to know each others’ respective cultural backgrounds and share their experiences as a girl/young woman. The programme is supported by the Malteser Hilfsdienst organization and works to promote everyday integration, empower its participants and assist with school projects.

Young women over 18 can take part in the “Young Women’s Club” instead.

Both programmes are organized by a group of women volunteers who support and mentor the girls. New volunteers are welcome to join the team. If you are interested and would like to spend about three hours twice a month working with young women and opening doors for refugees to feel at home in Konstanz, you are free to sign up!
