City Buses

You can comfortably reach the University of Konstanz by bus. With your congress ticket for city buses buses are free.

Bus lines 9A, 9B and 11 take you directly to the University of Konstanz campus.

Besides the city buses you may also use the shuttle service to reach the banquet at Konzil Konstanz. Shuttle buses take you directly from the university (bus stop at the main entrance) to bus stop “Konzilstraße” (Departure 19:10).

Parking

To park your car please use the parking decks “Süd” or “Nord”. Parking fees: 1,30 € per day, to be paid cash (in coins, exact change required) or via text message. To pay via text message, please send a message with your licence plate number to the quick dialling number 83115. Your day ticket is paid when you have received the confirmation message.

Conference Office: Registration

To register upon arrival, please visit the conference office in the foyer on level A5. Here you will receive all necessary participant documents and conference information.

Conference Office: Info-Point

The conference office is staffed throughout the conference and serves as the central contact point for any question that you may have. Additionally, the lost and found office and a contact person for emergencies (first aid) are located here.

Opening hours

  • Wednesday: 8:00–20:00
  • Thursday: 8:30–19:00
  • Friday: 8:30–18:00

You can reach the conference office during opening hours by calling +49 7531 88-4545. 

Printing

Should you wish to print or copy documents on-site, please ask at the conference office for a copy card for use at the CanonPrinting Centre at the university.

First Aid

In case of an emergency please call +49 7531 88-2222. Furthermore you may approach the conference staff, who will then organize assistance and aid for you.

Luggage

You may leave your luggage for safekeeping at the conference office (please note the opening hours).

Cash Machine

There is a cash machine on level A5, next to the Campus Café.

Catering

During breaks refreshments (coffee, cold drinks and snacks) are offered on level A5 (or level K7 during postersessions).

In the dining hall on level K6 you can buy various lunch menus at 11:15 until 14:00.

Further refreshment offers:

– Snack and drink vending machines e.g. on level A5 or K5
– Campus Café on level A5
– Bib-Café in the library on level B4
– Asian restaurant “Arche” on level K4

Internet Access at the University of Konstanz – Wi-Fi

Please find the login information for wireless internet access during the conference inside your name badge. Alternatively, if your institution is part of the eduroam network, you can also access the internet via eduroam, further information at:
eduroam.org

Please notice that accessing the internet is not possible in the dining hall (building K).

Mobile Networks

Since the university is located in the vicinity of the Swiss border, it is possible that your mobile phone will automatically select a Swiss cellular network in Konstanz, which may lead to higher costs. You can avoid this by disabling automatic network selection.

Trade Exhibition

You are also invited to visit the trade exhibition in the foyer on level A5 during the conference.
