*The price is per person and included catering during coffee breaks (coffee, cold drinks and snacks), dinner on 27 September and 28 September, a conference ticket for city buses and a conference booklet. Lunch, accommodation and any other costs incurred must be paid for by the participants themselves.

Registration
You may only register online via this website. You can pay the participation fee by bank transfer (invoice) or credit card.
Please transfer the participation fee within 14 working days, but no later than 20 September 2017. Your registration is binding only after we have received your payment. You are obliged to pay regardless of whether you attend the event.
Entering the country: visa
EU nationals must have a valid passport to enter the Federal Republic of Germany. They do not require a visa.
Generally speaking, all other foreigners require a visa for stays in Germany. You find an overview on visa requirements here.
Invitation letters for participants have been issued after payment of the registration fee is confirmed. As a rule, missions require between two and ten working days to decide on an application for a short stay visa. During the peak travel season there may be a waiting period for making an application to a German mission. Therefore, it is recommended to register for the conference and to apply for a visa at your earliest convenience.

The symposium is endorsed by the IUPAC. IUPAC endorsement implies that entry visas are granted to all bona fide chemists provided application is made not less than three months in advance. If a visa is not granted one month before the meeting, the IUPAC Secretariat should be notified without delay by the applicant.
Cancellations
Cancellations are valid only if submitted in writing (email or letter). Please send your cancellation to the conference office. You have been charged the following cancellation fees: until 27 August 2017: 50 % of the participation fee - starting 28 August 2017: 100 % of the participation fee.
If you need to cancel, please include your bank details.
Liability
The event organisers were not liable for damages due to force majeure or for the loss/theft of valuable items. Furthermore, the hosts and event organisers were not liable for damages associated with overnight stays and travelling. We reserved the right to change the programme and pricing.
