The Science Congress 2023 "The Human in the Focus of Digitalisation" will be held at the Casino Frauenfeld on 21 June 2023. Registration is now possible. In view of the limited number of places, a quick registration is recommended.
Prof. Dr. David Garcia received a special award by the Spanish Data Protection Agency together with José González-Cabañas, PhD, Prof. Dr. Ángel Cuevas, Prof. Dr. Rubén Cuevas and Juan López-Fernández for their paper “Unique on Facebook: formulation and evidence of (nano)targeting individual users with non-PII data”.
The Center for Human | Data | Society collaborates with the city of Konstanz and serves as a review partner for a series of events under the Smart Green City Konstanz initiative.
Prof. Dr. Stefan Leue (Department of Computer and Information Science) and Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Wilhelmi (Department of Law) gave a presentation on "Formal Modeling and Analysis of Legal Contracts using ContractCheck" at the Workshop on Programming Languages and the Law 2023 (ProLaLa 2023). It is part of their ongoing collaboration.
Konstanz chemist Sabrina Syskowski, post-doctoral researcher under Professor Johannes Huwer, receives a junior fellowship in the Joachim Herz Foundation's Didactics:Digital Research Training Group for her project "ARiELLE - Augmented Reality in Experimental Laboratory Learning Environments".
