The Advanced Data and Information Literacy Track (ADILT) is an interdisciplinary, co-curricular data and information literacy programme for students in all disciplines.

The University of Konstanz wants to enable all students equally to deal with data and information not only in a technically correct way, but also in a critical, well-informed and responsible manner. With the study-accompanying program for data and information literacy "Advanced Data and Information Literacy Track" (ADILT), basics of computer science and methods of data and information processing, their legal classification and the reflection of their social significance become topics for all courses of study. By attending courses in three blocks with different focuses, students acquire knowledge and competencies in the various fields and aspects of data and information processing which are demonstrable by the certificate.

Building on the Advanced Data and Information Literacy Track (ADILT) the Centre for Human | Data | Society aims to establish a joint study program, which is focused on enabling students to deal with new skills in data literacy and information processing and thereby influence society.

Der Advanced Data and Information Literacy Track (ADILT) ist ein interdisziplinäres Daten- und Informationskompetenzprogramm für Studierende aller Fachrichtungen.

Die Universität Konstanz möchte alle Studierenden gleichermaßen befähigen, nicht nur fachlich korrekt, sondern auch kritisch, informiert und verantwortungsbewusst mit Daten und Informationen umzugehen. Mit dem studienbegleitenden Programm zur Daten- und Informationskompetenz "Advanced Data and Information Literacy Track" (ADILT) werden Grundlagen der Informatik und Methoden der Daten- und Informationsverarbeitung, deren rechtliche Einordnung und die Reflexion ihrer gesellschaftlichen Bedeutung zum Thema aller Studiengänge. Durch den Besuch von Lehrveranstaltungen in drei Blöcken mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten erwerben die Studierenden Kenntnisse und Kompetenzen in den verschiedenen Bereichen und Aspekten der Daten- und Informationsverarbeitung, die durch das Zertifikat nachgewiesen werden können.

Aufbauend auf dem Advanced Data and Information Literacy Track (ADILT) will das Centre for Human | Data | Society einen gemeinsamen Studiengang etablieren, der darauf ausgerichtet ist, die Studierenden zu befähigen, sich mit neuen Kompetenzen in der Daten- und Informationsverarbeitung auseinanderzusetzen und so in und auf die Gesellschaft Einfluss zu nehmen.
