Agile management and digital transformation

As part of its excellence strategy, the University of Konstanz supports constant change through targeted personnel development measures. One component of this is the personal and methodological promotion and further development of academic support staff.

The Excellence Strategy measure "Agile administration and digital transformation" focuses on the introduction of agile working methods and techniques for cross-functional collaboration, with the aim of being able to react more quickly to changes in the future and to support upcoming digitalization projects from a personnel development perspective. In addition, employees and managers are to be empowered to proactively bring about necessary innovations and generally increase innovative strength.

In this context, the measure aims to support employees in their personal development and help them to cope with constant change in the context of digital transformation.

Mini-Workshops for teams in the science support service

Two new workshop formats for (project) teams will be launched in 2024!

With the "Moving Motivators", teams can create more clarity about the individual needs of each member in a playful way. In this way, the method helps to make different extrinsic and intrinsic motivators visible and, above all, discussable for all team members.

Further information can be found under this link in the training program.

In the "Instruction manual for myself" workshop, you and your colleagues will give each other an insight into everything that makes working with you easier. What characterizes your working style? Which topics can you be counted on for? But also: what drives you up the wall and how could colleagues help you specifically when you are under stress? The workshop is designed so that you can organize it yourself or without external moderation.

Further information on the workshop and the organizational details can be found under this link in the training programme.

Personal growth through coaching - pilot project with the onesome coaching app - Grow with us!

Our lives are characterized by constant change. We constantly have to adapt to new situations, whether privately or professionally. This challenges each and every one of us in a very individual way.

How can we all develop in such a way that we can cope with constant change? How do we manage to master all these challenges at the same time?

Coaching is one of the most effective tools for personal development. When I know who I am and what I need, I am more resilient and can deal with change much better. This has a positive impact on my professional and private life.

We have found a way to make this added value available to as many colleagues as possible: the onesome tool makes personal development available regardless of time and place. onesome is a web application that enables you to organize your own personal coaching. You are guided automatically and individually through various personal development topics and guided to self-reflection and self-awareness by means of questions. This allows each of you to deal with yourself individually at your own pace and work on personal issues.

We would like to test the added value of onesome as part of a pilot project. From mid-November, we will have a total of 50 access points for onesome available for 3 months. Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. You have the following options for registering:

1. If you are already interested, you can register directly by e-mail to agile-verwaltung@uni-konstanz.de to take part in the onesome pilot.
2. If you would like more information first, we cordially invite you to a virtual information event on November 3 from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. (click here for the Zoom room, no registration required). Following the information event, there will be a direct registration option as long as places are available.
3. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ina Griegoleit (ina.griegoleit@uni-konstanz.de) or our contact person at onesome, Joschka Zierke (joschka.zierke@onesome.de).

We look forward to the journey together!
