Abstract

The principle of fractal image coding presented in this paper is based on the theorie of L-IFS (Local Iterated Function System). A Delaunay partition of the image support decrease the number of affine transforms used to code the image. the adaptive aspect of the method improves the boundaries restitution in the reconstructed image.
