New position for Takayuki Kurihara

We congratulate Takayuki Kurihara (Research Fellow / Department of Physics) who has accepted a position as Research Associate (Assistant Professor) in the Laser and Synchrotron Research Center (LASOR) at the Institute for Solid State Physics of the University of Tokyo.

He will start on 16 February 2020 and will be working on the development of high-repetition attosecond laser pulses for the condensed matter spectroscopy.

“I more than thank the Zukunftskolleg for the opportunity to work here as a Research fellow. With full of financial support and heartwarming administrative assistance, I find it an ideal position for young researchers to promote science. I also enjoyed a lot the international and interdisciplinary environment at the Zukunftskolleg, which fits nicely with the openness of Konstanz University. I would love to keep in occasional touch with the people here for future collaboration and friendship.”

He held the position of Research Fellow of the Zukunftskolleg since April 2018.

We wish him all the best!
