Thomas Böttcher secures two grants
Thomas Böttcher (Research Fellow/Dept. of Chemistry) obtained a grant by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation and a grant by the Vector Foundation.
The grant by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation funds the project “Novel antibiotics targeting multidrug-resistant Neisseria gonhorrhoeae” with 555 000 Euro from October 2018 until September 2021. Thomas Böttcher applied for this grant with Christof Hauck, Professor for Cell Biology, and Thomas U. Mayer, Professor for Molecular Genetics.
The Vector Foundation funds the project “Chemical response of gut microbiota to human hormones” with 91 900 EUR. The funding period is from December 2018 until February 2020.
