New Calls for Applications at the Zukunftskolleg

The Zukunftskolleg offers new calls for applications for several programmes. Some of the programmes are open to all postdoctoral researchers of the University of Konstanz. Deadline for all calls for applications is January 31, 2017.

Mentorship Programme

(open to postdocs of the University)

The Mentorship Programme enables postdoctoral researchers at the University of Konstanz to network with distinguished colleagues both in Germany and abroad, and to maintain these contacts.

Independent Research Grant

(open to postdocs of the University)

The funding program aims to promote independent research by researchers who are in the early stages of their postdoctoral work. The Zukunftskolleg invites applications for financial support of up to EUR 3,000 for projects that help the individual applicant attain scientific independence.

Interdisciplinary Collaborative Projects Programme

(open to postdocs of the University)

The funding programme aims to promote research collaborations between young researchers. An interdisciplinary research project gives grant holders the opportunity to identify and explore new, innovative and/or risky research perspectives with neighbouring disciplines and across disciplines.

Transdepartmental Collaborative Teaching Programme

(open to postdocs of the University in cooperation with Fellows)

This call aims at promoting the development of new teaching courses and at contributing to the departmental syllabi. The program gives grant holders the opportunity to explore new, innovative topics in teaching, to further develop their teaching skills and to evolve teaching approaches across disciplines.

Intersectoral Cooperation Programme

(Fellows only)

This program aims to develop cooperations between Zukunftskolleg Fellows and the non-academic sector. Grants will be given to support cooperations that foster joint research projects with industrial partners, companies, social institutions, cultural institutions, archives, public bodies, or non-profit organisations.

Investment Pogramme for Research

(Fellows only)

This programme aims to improve apparatus and equipment in research. Participants can apply for apparatus requiring an outlay of between EUR 10.000 and EUR 50.000 for use by fellows in conducting their research.
