84 applications for 2-year and 5-year Fellowships
In its latest call for three 2- and three 5-year Fellowships (the closing date for applications was 15 October 2021), the Zukunftskolleg received 84 applications.
Among them were 67 applications for the 2-year Fellowships and 17 applications for the 5-year Fellowships. From all 84 applications, 28 came from Germany, 56 from abroad, as well as 53 from male and 31 from female applicants.
In its first meeting on 2 December, the Recruitment Committee will choose the finalists for the 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowships and the 5-year Research Fellowships. In its second meeting on 27/28 January 2022, the committee will decide on the 2-year Postdoctoral Fellows who will be offered positions. From 17-18 February 2022, the “Workshop on Future Research Directions” for the candidates applying for a 5-year Research Fellowship will take place.
