We invited you to our digital Jour fixe (the last one in the winter semester 2021/22) on Tuesday, 8 February.

In the first part (ca. 15:15-15:35), the Assembly of Members (2-year Fellows, 5 year Fellows, Senior Fellows and "fellows") elected one new member to the Executive Committee (replacing Nihan Toprakkiran from May 2022). The election was concucted digitally with an anonymous voting procedure.

Members of the category "fellows" (former 2-Year Postdoctoral Fellows or former 5-Year Research Fellows with a research grant at the University of Konstanz) were NOT elegible, BUT entitled to voteSenior Fellow were also entitled to vote.

After the election (at about 15:35), we presented / discussed the following topics:

1. Livia Gertis (Coordinator re:ERUA, University of Konstanz) and Jennifer Eschweiler (Assistant Professor, Roskilde University) presented re:ERUA and the work package "Innovation & Societal Engagement". Re:ERUA is an ambitious project developing the trajectory of the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA).

2. Petra-Alexandra Buhl (Central Office)  presented a first concept on the new Zukunftskolleg Research Award and on a new cooperation within the Lindau Nobel Laureates Meeting.

3. Since in the past, presentations in the Zukunftskolleg (guest talks, Jour fixe talks, etc.) have created discussions about racism, sexism, or how to deal with emotionally loaded content, we would like to discuss with you:
- Do we need dedicated discussion channels?
- Do we need to revisit these topics in dedicated Jour fixes, or discussion rounds?
- How does the interdisciplinary viewpoint in the Zukunftskolleg compare to the disciplinary view within a discipline? - Should we introduce normative action?
