Abstract

The rapid development of base computer technologies provides a background for applied research in the processing, analysis, and recognition of semantically structured data at a qualitatively new level. Semantically structured data (SSD) are one of the most widespread types of objects in modern information technologies. Real and virtual video and audio images, along with the relevant means for image transmission, storage, processing, analysis, and recognition, form the main direction of current and advanced research in information technologies. An urgent problem in this field is associated with the development of SSD-oriented instrumental software that is adequate for new and advanced computer technologies. One of the most important subtasks to be solved in this field is the development and implementation of instrumental software to support the information technologies of image analysis, recognition, and understanding. The solution to this problem led to the development of an integrated model for image analysis and synthesis [1], which was employed as a basis for several subsystems of instrumental software oriented toward image analysis, recognition, and understanding [2]. Another important result of the investigations in this direction is associated with the development of methods and algorithms for algorithm processing, analysis, and synthesis. The algorithms considered below are implemented as program modules incorporated into software oriented toward image processing and, consequently, can be integrated into general-purpose instrumental software for SSD processing.
