Expiration of the hygiene concept to protect against SARS-CoV-2 infections on 2 February 2023
The hygiene concept of the university to protect against SARS CoV-2 infections expired on 2 February 2023. This is because the state of Baden-Württemberg's Corona Ordinance (CoronaVO) will expire on 1.2.2023 and the federal SARS-CoV-2-Arbeitsschutzverordnung (occupational safety regulations) will expire on 2.2.2023 in response to the increasing immunity of the population and the greatly reduced number of new infections.
Even after the hygiene concept expires, you are welcome to continue to wear a medical mask or an FFP2 mask. Such masks help protect both you and others against infections with the coronavirus, as well as cold or flu viruses.
