Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2022
The Political Sciences and Public Administration departments have once again achieved top positions in the Global Shanghai University Rankings.
The Shanghai Ranking Consultancy has announced the results of the 2022 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS). As in past years, the social science programmes at the University of Konstanz scored particularly well in GRAS 2022. In the category "Political Sciences", the University of Konstanz ranked 2nd in Germany and 42nd worldwide. Another excellent result was the University of Konstanz's placement in the category "Public Administration" in the 3-4 ranking group in Germany and in the 51-75 ranking group worldwide.
The 2022 GRAS evaluated 54 subjects in the natural sciences, engineering, the life sciences, medicine and the social sciences. From 5,000 universities in 96 countries and regions assessed, 1,800 universities were included in the final ranking list. In addition to the GRAS ranking, the Shanghai Ranking Consultancy also conducts the annual "Academic Ranking of World Universities".
