Webdocumentary for the 50th anniversary

Come with us on an interactive journey through the University of Konstanz and experience the University in an entirely new way!

To the webdocumentary

The collaborative project "The University of Konstanz: a virtual tour" by the working groups media studies (Professor Beate Ochsner) and human-computer-interaction (Professor Harald Reiterer) created a webdocumentary on the occasion of the 50th University of Konstanz anniversary in 2016.

The webdocumentary composing tool "Klynt" makes it possible to integrate different components into an interactive environment.

Webdocumentaries are a new online format which combines interactive elements with videos, texts, pictures and sounds. The anniversary web documentary was designed by students. Responsible for the content is the working group media studies, for the design the communication design of the University of Applied Sciences (HTWG) in Konstanz, for technical programming aspects the working group human-computer-interaction.

University as living space is the motto of the documentary. Short presentations include the cafeteria, the bistro "Arche", the basements, the botanical garden, art and design elements, events and student activities such as the vegetable garden, campus festival and beer garden and much more! You can watch individual parts or in combination "spend one day at the university" („Ein Tag an der Uni“).
