The international Professor Luigi Tartufari Prize of the Italian National Academy Academia Nazionale dei Lincei is awarded to Italian and international researchers in the four disciplines of mathematics, astronomy, physics and chemistry as well as in molecular, cellular and evolutionary biology. As Italy's highest cultural institution, the Italian National Academy is the official scientific and cultural advisor of the Italian President.
